What we do.

Our CNC plastic fabrication facility combines custom, three-axis CNC routing, five-axis CNC routing, and secondary capabilities including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly for a variety of custom product needs. The automated CNC machining plastic process precision cuts components to regular and irregular shapes that can then be used by themselves or made part of more complex assemblies.

CNC plastic fabrication provides an economical solution for rapid turnaround of long and short runs of products fabricated from sheet plastic. Our machinists efficiently produce precision components from large stock up to 4-inch thickness, or as thin as 0.030.

In an effort to reduce lead times, we utilize Master Cam Software to translate your part’s math data into the programming. Our 3 and 5-axis capabilities allow us to produce challenging product designs without the need for specialized tooling.

What is CNC Plastic Machining?

CNC plastic machining is a manufacturing process that uses computer-controlled tools to shape plastic components with high precision. Unlike metal machining, CNC machining plastic materials requires specific knowledge of feed rates, thermal expansion, and chip removal to avoid cracking, melting, or warping.

SeaGate Plastics specializes in CNC plastic machining services for both commodity and engineering-grade plastics. Our capabilities are ideal for creating tight-tolerance components used in packaging, fluid handling, enclosures, and other demanding applications. Whether it’s a simple flat pattern or a complex 3D shape, our team guarantees clean edges, consistent quality, and material integrity throughout the process.
